Privacy Policy
Effective 15 September 2026
The short version: your moods stay on your phone. We don't collect, see, store or sell any of your information. Mood Bubbles has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and doesn't use the internet.
Mood Bubbles is a mood-tracking app for Android made by MND App Development ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.
What the app stores on your phone
- The feelings you log, the date and time you logged them, and any notes you add.
- Your settings: home screen layout, light or dark theme, and whether the daily reminder is on and at what time.
This is kept only in the app's private storage on your device. We have no way to access it.
What we collect
Nothing. The app doesn't request internet access, so it can't send your information to us or anyone else. There are no accounts, advertising, analytics or crash-reporting tools in the app.
When you share a mood
If you tap Save & share, or swipe an entry to share it, the app passes a short message (the feeling and any note) to the app you choose, such as WhatsApp. Nothing is shared unless you do this. Once shared, the message is handled by that app under its own privacy policy.
Permissions
- Notifications: only used if you turn on the daily reminder. The reminder is scheduled on your phone.
- Run at startup: lets the app restore your reminder after your phone restarts.
- Vibration: lets the reminder notification vibrate.
Backups
If you've turned on Android's backup for your Google account, Android may include Mood Bubbles' data in that backup so it can be restored on a new phone. That backup is handled by Google under your account; we can't access it. You can turn backup off in your phone's settings.
Deleting your information
Swipe any entry to the left to delete it. Uninstalling Mood Bubbles removes all of its data from your phone. Any copy in your Android backup is managed through your Google account settings.
Children
Mood Bubbles isn't directed at children under 13. The app doesn't collect personal information from anyone.
A note on wellbeing
Mood Bubbles is a self-reflection tool, not a medical service. If you're going through a difficult time, consider reaching out to someone you trust or a local helpline.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app's update notes.
